Personality:
A first glance at Minatsuki would warrant the ideas of "meek" and "shy", but she is far from that. On the inside, Minatsuki is manipulative, violent, and downright disturbing to those who know her.
As a child, Minatsuki was happy with her mother- often seeing her as her guardian. However, due to the Earthquake that hit Japan, her own mother abandoned her- leaving her to die in their crumbling home. It was then that Minatsuki's problems as a child began. She began to hurt things around her, such as a counselor that was addressing her problems, and even a child that stepped on her plants. It was this event that caused her to become more and more violent, thus causing her own insecurities to come up.
This is what caused her to become a "Liar Flower", as the other Deadmen call her. When she was first introduced, she played the part of being a rather innocent, shy girl, who would want to help out those. This front of being a liar, however, is due to her own insecurities she has of letting people close to her, due to her mother abandoning her as a child. She doesn't want the feeling of being let down by someone close to her again, so she puts up this "sweet girl" act as a ploy to help her beat and manipulate those she would face in the "Carnival Corpse", only revealing her true nature to anyone she was about to kill, for she felt as though she didn't have the need to put up the front anymore, since death would mean they would never know about her being devious then she originally was.
However, after facing Ganta, she learned that it was ok to open up to other people, and not to put up this front of being a "Liar Flower" anymore. This, and coupled with the events that began to transpire at Deadman Wonderland caused her to show her true colors more, almost dropping the "shy girl" act she put up before. However, that doesn't mean she doesn't do it occasionally- every now and then, she'll still mess and manipulate people, only for the fun of it.
Her true colors show that Mina is actually violent on the inside, enjoying killing people in the Carnival Corpse. She finds a thrill in these violent acts, and when it comes to death, and gore, she's accustomed to it by spending so much time in the Deadman Wonderland that it almost seems second nature to her. She is also known for speaking in a crude mannerism, often cursing and insulting others as she sees fit. As stated before, she also isn't afraid to mess with people, as well- often flashing her panties to those she sees as annoying, or to things she just wants to mess with- with her, if she feels like doing something, it will happen. Otherwise, she won't be bothered to be involved in much.
Deep down, though, Minatsuki actually has a girly girl personality. If there's one thing that's evident of this, it's her flowers that she tends to. When it comes to it, Minatsuki loves flowers, to the point where she'll harm anyone else if they so dare to touch or destroy one of them. She loves the plants, seeing them as something she can get herself attached to without having the fear of being let down, or having the plants hurt her in return. This feeds into the insecurities she had before, and she would actually give certain plants to other people depending on her mood- but they often include fly traps to show her loathing to them.
As stated before, Minatsuki isn't afraid to show certain parts of her body- such as flashing her panties at people, or even teasing them by pressing her body up against them. However, that's about as far as she'll go when it comes to such sexualized content. If one were to, say, suggest taking a shower with her, such as her brother Yoh did, or even go all the way, she would immediately become flustered and end up harming the person. When it comes down to it, her insecurities of letting people become more closer to her actually prevents her from actually going through with this sort of thing. And as such, she's still not wishing to let anyone that close to her- whether or not they're actually her friends, some may never know.
But on the outside, she tries to play it off by being a strong, berating woman that wouldn't seem to be hesitant to kill anyone that would cross her. As stated before, she loves violence, and wants to put up this front of being strong so that no one would look down or feel sorrow for her- something she would hate very dearly. If one were to actually show her that sort of sorrow and apologetic tone, she would immediately deny anything they would be saying, claiming not to want or need any of the sorrow she has been receiving, for it would make her seem weak, and she never wants to experience the feeling of being weak to others again.
However, if by the off chance that she does actually become really close to someone, she would feel that losing them would be a devastating loss for her. She wouldn't express it outwardly, but on the inside, she would want that person to be by her side, for that feeling of having someone close to her, and not being alone anymore would make her feelings for said person much more stronger- as evidenced with her relationship with her brother, Yoh. Losing him, she didn't know what to do, because that was the closest thing she had to her.
Why is your character a good fit for the setting of Soul Campaign, and what will they do once they are in the game?
Minatsuki would fit the role of an Anti-Hero. Someone would need to heavily motivate her to do certain tasks, or if something actually catches her attention, she would be willing to do it. However, she wouldn't be bothered to involved herself in something that she feels doesn't need her immediate attention. But if she believes it to be for the better...then she'll have second thoughts.
List the abilities your character will still have in Soul Campaign:
Mina wouldn't be able to access her power, The Branch of Sin, but she would still be able to retain knowledge of fighting back from when she was at Deadman Wonderland. She would also be able to do at least do acrobatic and athletic stunts, but aside from that, she wouldn't retain much.
List the weaknesses your character will gain (or lose) in Soul Campaign:
As stated before, she wouldn't be able to access her Branch of Sin, which was her primary means of attacking, so losing it would mean she wouldn't have that long range distance she had with her Branch before, thus not being able to keep people at a distance like she normally would have. Aside from that, she wouldn't lose much else.

Someone came in and actually watered the damn thing when I set it outside to get a little sunlight. There's a reason I was doing that, you dumbasses! Use your heads a little once in a while, you got it?! You know how badly this could go for a plant like this!? ...tch, bunch of assholes here, I swear.
[She quietly brings up a juicebox to her mouth, beginning to sip on it quite a bit.]
...alright, if you tell me who you are, maybe we won't have a problem anymore- I just want to talk about...something. [She's lying through her teeth.] And I'll give you a plant in return, how about that? [She sinisterly smiles at the camera by this point.]
...if you don't come by, I'll find out who you are. And let's just say the end result isn't looking good for you right now, fucker.
...oh, right, missions, whatever. I guess if you want to do something or some shit...I'm too half assed for this kind of crap... Then talk to me or something. I'm bored as hell and I really want to do something fun, ya hear? I'm getting sick and tired of looking at this damn wall all day. So, if you cook up a good one, maybe I'll be willing to lend you my services. If not...piss off.

She can't be half-assed with this kind of crap.
She was perfectly content with keeping herself locked up- somewhere that wasn't that god damned Deadman Wonderland- thank goodness she doesn't have to deal with that sort of crap anymore. But...now it seems as though she's caught up in some sort of war going on? Bah. She merely flips her hair a bit, staring at the screen as that red-headed dumbass was explaining this junk to her. At the end of it, a little "feh!" came out of her, as she placed her hands on her hips.
"...you serious right now? I have to go through this on top of what just went down at...augh, I swear, I better get something good out of this whole damn ordeal." It was then that something dawned upon her. If what that guy was saying was true...she bit her thumb, drawing blood from it, and...nothing. It was true...her Branch of Sin was gone...it was then that her face really grew irritated at this point, and she began to point at the screen.
"Hey, listen up, asshole, you think I'm going to sit here and listen to you spout your god damn bullshit to me?! Let me tell you right now- I ain't going to be involved in this damn war of yours unless I get some compromise here! I...I don't want to be alone here, dammit!" It was true- she hated the feeling of being alone more then anything. But she can't show that right now- she can't show herself being weak to anyone. She gritted her teeth, hoping that some other sorry sucker she knows wounded up here. If not...
"...feh. Whatever. Let's go see what the shit is going on outside, then." Her face resumed it's normal "this sucks" mode, as she yawned, making her way to see where she'll be staying, apparently. "...oi, there wouldn't happen to be any plants around here, right?" She sighs, maybe that will help take her mind off of things for the time being, instead of thinking that she'll be alone during this whole thing- no one from home...hm. She'll have to dwell on that for later. For now...she'll just follow whatever asshole is leading her.
