[There's a lot of things wrong with what's going on right now. One; she's in some new place that doesn't look like her prison cell. Two; she's got some annoying wings on her back that are bothering her beyond relief, and not to mention the pain that they're bringing her. Wouldn't they have someone ready to give out painkillers at an instant? Or something to at least null the pain. Whatever it is, she needs to find out what in the hell is going on. And this...what is it- a journal? Yeah, she figures she'll go ahead and use it for the time being.

But how to go about this...there's a good chance if she's...well, herself, people won't actually listen to her, and would probably go on their way. She doesn't want to have to resort to this, but she's going to have to in order to garner some attention. So there's a sharp inhale of breath (well, partly due to the wings but) as she begins to speak.]

U-Um...excuse me, I have a few questions... [So far so good, she's playing it off with her rather sweet, innocent voice so far.] Is there a reason we have these wings on our backs...? I don't really like it much, and it's really bothering me. [There's another reason why she doesn't like them in the first place- she feels like they're mocking her with that pink color. Jeez.] A-And what is this place...? It's not home...did someone kidnap me? If so, then that's a really mean prank!

I'm also a little bit lost...um, if anyone could help out, I'd be really grateful for your cause! O-of course, that's all up to you whether you want to help me out or not...I'm not going to force you too, that's just a little too cruel... [She'd like it to be as cruel as possible, but hey. New place? She'll screw with people some other time, but right now, it doesn't seem right.]

...oh, I'm sorry, I should have introduced myself too...my name is Minatsuki Takami, it's...it's a pleasure to meet all of you...! Ow...these wings really hurt... [Her voice was a little pained as she was speaking, but she's no stranger to pain in the first place. So she's just trying to keep up this facade through all of it.]

Thank you for your time...um...I...I guess I'll...try and get used to the surroundings for now...

[And with a small sigh, she turns off the voice, a small curse under her breath.]

[Wow she seems really nice. Is she scared of talking to a lot people at once? All that random pausing definitely reminds Shu of himself.] You can't remove the wings.

No matter how much it hurts, if you remove them you'll die. [Shu's trying his best to sound soothing because it's a difficult subject to approach.]

[Her first sucker, huh...well, at least he's providing some information to her. At hearing ripping off the wings could result in death, internally she's cursing up a storm, outwardly, she's just looking a little shocked.]

Y...you can't remove them? So that means we have to live with them now... [Perfect. At least they should have given her Hummingbird wings, that would have been much better. But she doesn't seem to upset by it, no. She just seems rather distant is all.]

...what is this place...? I mean, it...it's nothing like home, why was I taken here...? There's all these questions I have...!

What's your home like? [Shu really just wants Minatsuki to focus on things that make her happy. He's actually asking all the wrong questions.]

[SHU NO DON'T ASK THAT QUESTION she definitely wasn't prepared for something along those lines. Her face shifts into her usual mean spirited one, before she lets out a tiny gasp and shifts it back to her cutesy one.]

My home is...nice. It's really nice, I'm surrounded by flowers all the time, and I live with my brother...it's peaceful, I do like it... [Okay, half of that was a lie, the other half is fairly true.]

But, um...is this place going to be my new home for the time being...? I...I don't know if I can adjust to that...

[Shu just figures that Minatsuki's distressed and concludes that's why she made the expression. She did say she was in pain.]

You really like flowers? [Maybe he should get her one. He doesn't even know a thing about flowers, but if it's that special to her then perhaps it'll help Minatsuki forget that she's in pain? Where is Shiemi when you need her? She loves gardening and she'd know which flowers look nice and make people relax.]

I'll go get you one and I'm sorry about your brother. The least I can do is make you feel more at home.

I do...they were my friends back home...they're really delicate, you know that? One touch is all it might take to just knock one over... [Well, it's true. She doesn't want to see her precious babies ever knocked over, nor would she like to see them rot without- wait shit who was going to take care of them. She can't trust Yoh, though, he's not reliable at all.

Whatever, she'll worry about that sort of thing later. Right now, though, she's pretty surprised that Shu is already getting a flower for her sake.]

Y-You don't have to do that for me...! I...I can try and make this place feel like home as it is...you're too kind for doing that for me...

[.....He can't help it. Tsuzuki's always had a soft spot for vulnerable people, so he can't help but answer.]

Oh, that's no good. It's too cold to be walking around outside for new feathers.

Can you see the town from where you're standing, miss?

[And on the feed, Minatsuki does seem to be shivering from how cold it is. She also looks as though she's about to burst into tears at any minute.]

U-Um...there's a town...? I think I can see one. [Or at least what she thinks is one, but...]

Is there going to be someone to help me out there...? It's not too far away, I think I can make it...

[And of course, the moment Tsuzuki notices that she might cry, he's ready to help. He simply can't sit idly by while a young girl freezes in the forest.]

I can meet you. Don't worry, there are warm clothes and a clinic in town. You'll find everything you need there.

[The feed suddenly becomes unsteady, as Tsuzuki picks the journal up and heads for the door.]

[Beaming at the thought of someone coming to meet her, Minatsuki lets out a small nod.]

Is there anywhere specific you want to meet me...? I can go anywhere, I-I just need some sort of visual as to where...

[But she's already liking the idea of warm clothes and going to a clinic. Heh, how many other people can she fool into giving her what she wants...]

[Tsuzuki, trying to be helpful, moves the journal away from his face so she'll be able to see the picturesque little town. He walks briskly, taking a shortcut into the woods.]

There's a large tree to the west of town. It has the remains of a treehouse still stuck between its branches. If you're really lucky, you'll be able to see it.

[If she keeps being as sweet as she is, she will trick so many people in town that it's not even funny. Luckily, Tsuzuki has no idea that his goodwill is being exploited. He even brings an over-sized scarf and some mittens for the new one, so she won't catch a cold on the way down to town.]

But it will be faster if I simply send a bird for you.

Sooooo, you're lost? I'm sure you're getting directions, but want an escort? Maybe even one of those "tours" people ask for?

A "tour"...? I think I would like one, yes...if it'll help me better understand what's going on around here...um, but what is there to tour around here...?

Honestly? Maybe three square kilometers of town, a beach, a hot spring, and then several hundreds of square kilometers of forest or mountain range - which means I'm going to ignore that last one.

That's so much to take in though...! I didn't realize that this place had so much in it...but, um, if someone would be willing to give me a tour, I'd take it... [That, and she's really cold and doesn't want to be out here for long.]

[He way his voice deepened there, it's clear some sort of movie(?) impression. What? The world may never know. But either way, there's the sound of him standing, picking up the book as he goes] Soo~ Did you get those directions to town yet, in which case I can say something like "meet me at the fountain" or should we start with getting you here in the first place and I'll meet you part way?

[...oh. Well, she definitely didn't expect this sort of outcome to come. Whatever, if this girl wasn't going to buy it, she might as well just ditch the cutesy girl act and go straight into her own persona.]

Huh, didn't think that would be a problem. You dunno how many people would actually eat up the whole "Oh, I'm cold and hurt, someone help me" act.

...still, these things hurt like shit. And I'm fucking cold. You got any ideas there with dealing with this?

[Welp. She actually hadn't been expecting that, but whatever, she could roll with it. It was definitely preferable to how she had been acting before.]

I know, right? There are a ton of do-gooders in this place too.

[Plus, she wasn't exactly a stranger to acts like those either.]

Clothes won't cost you anything here, so if you can get to the stores without freezing to death out there then you're golden. As for the pain...I guess you could try to find a healer. There are a lot of magic-users in this place, and if you use that act of yours it should be easy to get one of them to help you.

White knights are fucking pathetic if you ask me. "Help me, I fell down and hurt my leg" is usually the one thing I'll resort to to get guys to get me things I want. Ain't nothing to bad about it.

[That next part, though, she seems to be taking a bit of interest in.]

Got it, use the act to get someone to help me out, then give them the shaft later. I think it should work out smoothly. [In who's world, Minatsuki...] But I'm just cold, the pain isn't something that I'm not used to. Usually I had to deal with worse, but... [A bit of a grumble.] I ain't exactly at home with the luxury of the cold being kept out.

That's easy to fix too. All you have to do is find an empty house or apartment and take it for yourself! You can do that on your own without any white knights, right? [It probably wasn't a good idea to provoke Minatsuki like that, but oh well.]
